The World Information Transfer, or WIT, is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization in general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. So basically, it is an organization with direct access to the meetings, conferences, and various networks that the UN has to offer. Located in the heart of New York City's "Midtown" business district, WIT offers a breadth of opportunities for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students from every corner of the globe. I can speak on behalf of the entire WIT team in saying that this internship broadens your ideas of international affairs, and that you will enjoy it from day one.
This blog will be compiled by the 2010 WIT alumni over the next several months.
To the 2010 WIT team, feel free to post at your own leisure.
